Wahooooo...

Finally. The Schofields have a piano. I couldn't be much happier. I have wanted to make this investment (quite a large one...in case you weren't sure) for years. Kept putting it off. You know how that is. Couldn't put it off any longer. I am happy. So happy. Playing the piano relaxes me. It helps me to unwind. While I'm not the greatest...I CAN play enough to get by. We now have accompaniment for FHE. I love to hear my kids tinkering on it. Lizzy is going to be my pianist I think. She loves the thing. The novelty has worn off for the others. The best thing about this huge new addition to our living room is the feeling it brings into our home. Peace. It reminds me of my home growing up. Always hearing my Mom play. Squishing next to her on the bench plunking out the hymns (her on the left, me on the right) while my Dad would sing along. It feels warm. It feels like a home.

elizabeth ellen

Elizabeth Ellen...Lizzy B! My sweet, kind, gentle little girl. 7 years old today! I still remember the day I was told there were TWO baby girls in my tummy. I was over the moon. One of the happiest days of my life. Lizzy still makes me so happy. She is so kind and easy going. She'll give you anything you ask for...even things you don't. She loves to give. She is a beautiful singer and does so well in the 1st grade. People love Lizzy because she is so nice. She is the best FINDER in the world. Seriously. If you have lost anything...ANYTHING...get Lizzy on the job...she will find it for you. She is such a good girl, and tries so hard to be like Jesus.
We love you Lizzy!

emily jane

Emmy Jane. We love you so very much. Emily is my little ball of energy. She loves to run, jump, hop, skip...and she loves to do it all FAST! For the most part, she is always happy and smiling...which is very contagious. She's a fantastic reader and just loves to go to school. She has many friends and loves her teacher Mrs. Anderson. She is so funny! Genuinely funny. She can really get people laughing...and she giggles all the time! Emily is a good girl and tries to always do what's right. She loves her Mama and is rarely far from my side. She makes me happy and brings so much joy to our family. We love you Emily girl!

my girl is two!

Here she is two years ago...

and here she is today!

My baby redhead is two today. I really can't believe it. I can remember the day of her birth like it was yesterday. It was a peaceful, spiritual day for me. One of the happiest days of my life. I fell in love with Molly Venice instantly. I am still in love with her. She is a joy to our family. Honestly. She makes us smile, laugh, happy. She is doted on quite a bit by her older brother and sisters...and mommy and daddy. She loves the attention, and we love giving it. Our family life is richer with her in it. Love you Molly moo.

the artist...

Alex is amazing. Am I allowed to say that? I've noticed his artistic talent blossoming over the years, and always wanted to get him in some sort of art class but thought we could never afford it. That is, until an "art" friend of ours noticed his talent and offered to give him lessons! Wahoo! He is incredible. For Christmas, he picked Lizzy's name, and wanted to draw her a horse. This is what he came up with. Seriously. So good, huh?

baby...

Here she is...Baby Schofield. The bear. Molly has loved this thing for as long as I can remember. She sleeps with it every afternoon and night, and takes it everywhere. It's usually gray rather than white and pink, due to all the lovin'. Nearly every picture I have of our little Molly, she is holding Baby. I'm so glad she has something to hold and love though. Hope it never wears out.
